Formula1 2009 Turkish Grand Prix

All cars out on the formation lap. Sebastian Vettel is in Pole Position for the Turkish GP, which is now just moments away from going green. The German beat the two championship leading Brawns of Button and Barrichello in the final seconds of qualifying to clinch his second Pole of the season and the third of his career. Very little to choose between the top drivers in terms of fuel loads. They are all expected to come in around Lap 16. Webber in fourth makes it two Red Bulls on the top two rows with Trulli marking Toyota’s comeback with fifth place. The Ferraris will start sixth and seventh with Alonso rounding off the Top 8. After shining in Practice, McLaren once again disappointed with Kovalainen and Hamilton managing just 14th and 16th respectively. Istanbul Park promises a super exciting 58-lap race and while the only race-winners this season start from the front-row, it could well be someone behind them that causes an upset on this fast-paced circuit.
